Jean Tinguely is a sculptor born in Basel and a part of the Parisian avant-garde movement of the 50's and 60's helped to stimulate the idea of replacing static sculptures with kinetic ones. His use of machine sculptures creates a colorful and (literally!) moving presentation for his audiences.
